Langtang Trek is the trek through lush aromatic oak, pine, juniper and rhododendron forests, majestic waterfalls, prolific wildlife, and the stunning view of the Himalayas. Langtang Trek also includes the vintage villages of Langtang village, Sybrubensi, Mundu, Kyangin, and other small villages in its route. The trek passes through Sherpa and Tibetan settlements so you can get to know their lifestyle, culture and religious practices. Also, they will come across many small Buddhist monasteries and trails covered with Buddhist prayer flags which give a glimpse of Buddhist influence in this area. Langtang Trek offers to explore the “Valley of Glaciers” with magnificent panorama of Ganesh Himal (7,422m), Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Gaurishankar (7,134m), Dorje Lakpa (6,966m), Kinshung (6781m), Yansa Tsenji (6567m), Langshisha Ri (6,427m), Gangchempo (6,378m), Naya Kanga (5,844m), Tserko Ri (4,984m), Yala Peak (5550m), and many other mountains. The trekkers also get a splendid view of the sunrise over the Langtang range atop the Tserko Ri (4984m). Langtang Trek also includes the exploration of Langtang National Park which is home to varieties of floras and faunas. The trekkers will get chance to be around the exotic wildlife of the Himalayas such as wild boar, snow leopard Himalayan Thar (wild goat), musk deer, Himalayan black bear, red panda, rhesus monkey, pica, common Langur, and more.

Our company representative will pick you up at the Tribhuvan International Airport and you will be dropped at your respective hotel. You can roam the streets of Thamel for a while before the dinner.
We take a tour of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites in our jeep. Kathmandu has seven of the ten World Heritage Sites enlisted by UNESCO. We will visit Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath and Changu Narayan Temple. Later, we shall discuss the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Driving along the beautiful Trishuli River, we are welcomed by the beauty of the wise green hills and winding rivers. Our drive is full of bumpy roads with the stunning view of Manaslu, Annapurna, and Ganesh Himal. After an 8-hour drive, we reach Sybrubensi. Overnight at a hotel.
We leave Sybrubensi for Lama Hotel. Crossing a suspension bridge over Bhote Koshi River, we trek along the Langtang Khola to reach a small Tamang village of Bamboo. Here we get the first brief introduction to the Tamang community. We walk down some Himalayan forests and may encounter red pandas, bears, monkeys, and other animals in the forests. After a short trek, we reach Rimche and finally, we arrive at Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel.
Relishing the splendid view of the sunrise over the Himalayas, we leave Lama Hotel and reach Ghodatabela. We pass through grazing lands, small villages and Buddhist monasteries to reach Langtang village. The village was massively affected by the earthquake of 2015. As mentioned earlier in the background, we provide some relief materials to the villagers and march towards Mundu. Overnight at a lodge in Mundu.
Walking across several prayer wheels, Chortens, and the largest Mani wall in Nepal, we trek towards Kyangin Gumba. Kyangin Gumba is the largest Buddhist monastery in the Langtang region. The monastery hosts awe-inspiring views of the Himalayas. We can rest for the day after a long day and get ready for the climb to Tserko Ri (4984m) the next day. Overnight in Kyangin Gumba.
We take a day off from trekking and acclimatize our bodies to the climate and environment in the high altitude. We get ready to scale the Tserko Ri(4984m). The path is relatively dangerous compared to that of the rest of the trek. We come across a couple of ridges filled with Buddhist prayer flags before reaching the top of Tserko Ri which is also the highest point of our trek. We get stunning views of Langtang Lirung (7227m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Yubra (6264m), Langtang I (6596m) and the other beautiful snow-capped mountains. We then return to Kyangin Gumba with a freshening view of the glaciers. Overnight in Kyangin Gumba.
Trekking through dense alpine forests of oaks, rhododendron, and juniper, we leave Kyangin Gumba for Lama Hotel. We may encounter red panda, mountain Langur, wild boar, dear and many types of birds during our trek in the forests. As we retrace our steps back to the hotel, we are accompanied by graceful sceneries throughout the walk. Overnight in Lama Hotel.
On our last day of the trek, we trek along the same route we used for the uphill trek. Trekking along Langtang Khola, we trek for a couple of hours to reach Bamboo. From Bamboo, we trek for another couple of hours and cross a suspension bridge over Bhotekoshi River before reaching Sybrubensi. Overnight at a hotel in Sybrubensi.
Following the same route, we drive back to Kathmandu. After 7 hours of drive in the countryside, we reach Kathmandu. The winding roads provide us an unconventional yet memorable ride. We can rest our weary bodies and roam the streets in Thamel. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
You can spend the day as per your own desire and shop for gifts and souvenirs. You can also visit the culturally rich sites in the city to spend the final day of your stay in Nepal. Later, we meet for a farewell dinner in a restaurant in Thamel, Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
We bid you farewell and drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your scheduled flight to your home country.
